Abstract:In order to train thinking in English, you should think in more English when you're listening to speaking reading and writing English.

Key words:English  Thinking

First of all,you think of ideas in English.Naturally you will think, esp.on bed before sleep. You think in English .Don't think of Chinese. Many ideas will appear.Try to overcome thinking in Chinese. You think and think in English. You keep on so. The side effect is to likely cause sleeplessness.

Speak English to others without translation. When you meet some difficulties while speaking, you can say in a roundabout way.For example, when you want to say :“I'm interested in pedagogy” and you don't know the word pedagogy, you can say:"I'm intersted in the science of teaching or education."Then you can pass.

Read English without translation.First read some simple English fast without stopping.Do some understanding multiple choices after reading to see whether you are right. Then read some considerably difficult articles and do some questions and answers exercises.

Often consult an English-English dictionary instead of an English-Chinese one.For instance, you don't know the word psychology. Then you look up the word in the dictionary. You'll find the meaning:"science, study of the mind and its processes".

Listen to English without time to think in Chinese.First liston to some simple articles.Try to force youself to understand them without translation. And also think in English of what the speaker is saying in Chinese. It's not simply translation.

Write in English.Translation is not stressed while writing. In a word, you had better think in more English while you listening to,speaking, reading and writing English.Gradually you'll be able to think in English.
